Artist's Comments
Maybe a little bit provocative, maybe a little silly, maybe a little scary. Whatever you prefer.
Just in case: it's NO emo picture and I'm in no suicidal mood. She was actually going to be a nasty zombie, but I changed my mind Comments, including 1-liners are appreciated. How else would I know if it sucks or not? Comments
Oh my lord. Oh kdlfjdksljf OH MY GOD. This is so amazing- seriously one of the best things I've seen in a long long time. It looks so realistic, I love the folds above the belt and how it spans out, and the little edges at the end. The skin and texture and everything is so well done, And the flat line in the background is really just brilliant.
Well done, seriously. You have a LOT of talent- definitely one of the better artists on DA! OK, so love everything on this except... what is with her nipple or something? I can't figure that out and I'm not sure why that one looks exposed though the dress seems even. It just throws me off, especially when everything else is non-exaggerated. The feet look casual and very natural (impressive, I suck at that) and I love the way you hint at the folds without over accentuating them.
-- "From Hell's heart, I stab minty freshness at thee bitch!" [link] Really well drawn and designed. I like the way you did her hair and the dress.. it's a nice tough to have that heart monitor line in there. I really love this piece a lot.

Critiques
The skin on her upper body is very smooth and lovely, and the skin on her legs are speckled, which looks kind of odd to me. I would expect to see some spots on her upper half. You mentioned you were thinking of making her a zombie, so I don't know if that has something to do with the differences in skin texture.
I'm not sure what the thing is that's sort of protruding off of her left breast. At first I thought maybe it was her nipple, but it's not really the right shape nor in the right spot.
I think you could have gotten away with making the shadows from the fringes/pleats on her skirt a bit darker and more hard edged.
Well that's all I've got. Apologies if this seemed kind of nitpicky; overall the painting is really well done so I had to search for things to critique on.
