This is a really beautiful image. I love the color scheme and the skin tones look fantastic. The background textures are very engaging and interesting without overpowering the figure. The heart rate monitor line (I have no idea what the technical term is) in the background is an excellent touch.
The skin on her upper body is very smooth and lovely, and the skin on her legs are speckled, which looks kind of odd to me. I would expect to see some spots on her upper half. You mentioned you were thinking of making her a zombie, so I don't know if that has something to do with the differences in skin texture.
I'm not sure what the thing is that's sort of protruding off of her left breast. At first I thought maybe it was her nipple, but it's not really the right shape nor in the right spot.
I think you could have gotten away with making the shadows from the fringes/pleats on her skirt a bit darker and more hard edged.
Well that's all I've got. Apologies if this seemed kind of nitpicky; overall the painting is really well done so I had to search for things to critique on.
This definitely gives off a very unsettling mood yet at the same time alot of beauty just lying within. I can see what you meant in your comment about thinking of letting her become a zombie and honestly I'm starting to think you should've gone more down that route. But I digress this is still pretty damn appealing. I understand the background is probably meant to be abstract with a very soft leafy texture but noticing the small line scratches (especially the one close by her feet) I think more stuff should be added for it. Even if it's something small and subtle like an old poster or the shadow of a chair for instance. Still I do like the minimal effect of a tragic story behind this woman's fate that allows the viewer to endlessly keep guessing her demise.
the textures work amazing in here, they give an extra creepy, cold look to the whole thing which in another bizarre way seems to me very pretty and eye candy
